PureFeed®
Series feeders are designed specifically for pharmaceutical processes the
AP-300 feeder includes the following customer driven features, quick and
easy disassembly, a dual arm external agitation system for maximizing
material handling versatility, and FDA accepted EPDM feed hopper that is
“disposable” or “recyclable”. That means simpler, shorter cleaning cycles
and virtually no chance of cross contamination when moving from one material
to another.
PureFeed® AP-300 is available in volumetric and gravimetric configurations
for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and even cosmetic applications involving
feed rates from 500 grams / hour to approximately 150 Kg / hour. Jet
milling, continuous blending, medical-grade plastics compounding, packaging,
coating, and ingredient weighing are examples of the primary applications
that fit the PureFeed® AP-300 well. |

Volumetric Series Feeders handle a wide variety of fine powders, flakes,
granules, chips, and pellets. They are in operation worldwide in every major
industry – chemicals, food, plastics, water treatment, foundries,
pharmaceuticals, coatings, cement, building products, and many more.
All Schenck AccuRate Tuf-Flex™ feeders
utilize a unique form of agitation. Instead of using the traditional
internal stirring devices or vibration to keep material moving, Schenck
AccuRate manufactures a Tuf-Flex™ vinyl hopper. This flexible hopper is
agitated on the exterior by two alternating paddles (one paddle on smallest
unit).
The paddle action gently massages the
material down into the metering screw, eliminating ratholing and bridging
while conditioning material into a uniform bulk density. The helix flights
are filled uniformly, resulting in excellent volumetric accuracy. |
